Tumerok mages use rhythmic drumming to call upon lightning to harm their enemies. Tumerok Base Magic tree has many lightning base vigour drains, as well as burning lightning health drains, also a numbing, a bleed and a disease attack.

Despite whether you wield a drum or another weapon, if you are a Tumerok, you will find the Magic tree extremely useful. Tumerok Magic contains the base [[AC2:Heal|Heal]] and vigour heal ([[AC2:Revitalize|Revitalize]]), which many Tumeroks will find essential skills to have, no matter what other tree they might otherwise specialize in.
Here you will also find Tumerok race specific aura buffs: [[AC2:Esprit|Esprit]], and [[AC2:Acumen|Acumen]]. [[AC2:Winged Feet|Winged Feet]] provides a weak group run buff, while [[AC2:Wingfoot|Wingfoot]] (yes similar naming) provides the [[AC2:2/5]] self run speed buff.

[[AC2:Thornskin|Thornskin]], also quite useful skill, provides a Tumerok with a [[AC2:2/5|2/5]] buff that reflects a portion of any attacker's damage, while [[AC2:Interlope|Interlope]] can reduce a portion of incoming damage.

From the Tumerok Base Magic skill tree, a character has access to the two specialized classes - the [[AC2:Invoker|Invoker]] and the [[AC2:Healer|Healer]].

If you play either specialized magic class, even if you take no other skills from the base Magic tree, you will want to take, as appropriate while leveling, the [[AC2:Magic Master|Magic Master]], [[AC2:Magic Grandmaster|Magic Grandmaster]], and [[AC2:Magic Paragon|Magic Paragon]] skills. These extremely important skills will improve your chance to hit with and defend against magic attacks.
